Default Battery ?
I have just ordered an HTC Touch HD, and am looking for a spare battery.
Searching on the 'net, I found many sites offering Touch HD batteries, but none has them in stock.

On HTC's "Accessory shop" site itself, the earlier availability date for the HTC Touch HD Battery (BA S340, 1350 mAh) is listed as January 11th, 2009.

Are there alternatives to the official HTC battery ?

expansys.com as well. i ordered and received mine from expansys within 5 business days. it's also an OEM (read: official) battery.
