[06.01.09] Latvian language support !!! And how to edit any language

I`m working on translating wwe rom to Latvian.
If there is anybody interested to test and help to translate is welcome.
I found an easy way to do the translation , but still takes some time.

Could you give me some basic instructions on how and what files you are changing? I'm interested in making an Estonian translation.

Its been talked a lot how to change language in roms. but not realy how to translate.WHot I did aftre trying again and again:
extracted from wwe rom mui files.(YOu can downlode eng.zip with mui files to start)
then unsighn .eng.zip files are alredy unsighned.
The tricky part is that YOu need PE Explorer and Restorator 2007.
those 2 programs give the best solution for editing mui files.
open PE Explorer then select resource viewer/editor
and go to menu folder duble click on resource and translate whots in caption window.
the same we do with Dialog folder.
save
now open Restorator 2007 and edit String. (By editing string with PE Explorer it messes up the mui file)
dont forget to enable edit mode or press F6.
and edit like
18001, "Simple PIN\0x00"
whot is in red
Save
Now YOu need to sign the file with siggner ( can be found on this forum)
move it to phones memory card and with Resco explorer move to windows dir.
replace existing file. reboot
Generaly thats all

there are Language Extenders for Pocket PC
the latvian did not work with wm 6.1
so easy way to translati is open original mui file in one window and the extender language file in other and copy-paste the text to otiginal file.
esti.zip is just files for looking, copying thext strings. do not use them in YOur phone. they will not work

is english translation ready to use? since i can't hard spl my xperia (smth always goes wrong) and it is in dutch, it would be great to have it in english...

this works in wwe rom.
try soft spl.

english mui files dont mach with dutch rom. You need wwe rom to play with mui . or edit dutch muis
