Skype mobile 2.5 beta

Has anybody tried it yet? on my phone, it will crash EVERY single time im either trying to make a phone call or trying to pick up an incoming one. just trying to find out if anybody else encounters this. on a related note: i lost the cab for the (in my case working) version 2.2.0.45. if somebody could please send it to me so i can at least use it again? i tried skype's forum, but the people there are useless

edit: found the cab. on a russian forum. damn, i forgot most of my russian.. oh well. still interested if someone has the same problem with the 2.5beta tho

Skype is just working perfectly for me. I don't know what version it is but downloaded it yesterday from skype directly (2.5 beta).

Dont know if the German language is available in this install:

I actually am aware of the difference between the two versions

yeah, i think it was german, but then i dont really remember since i downgraded very soon after that so i can still use it. sound still coming from the back speaker in that version?

Are you using an original english rom? from what i have read so far, this problem only occurs when skype is installed on roms with an os language other than english.

When making a call, the call can only be heard through the speakers instead of the earspiece. Does anybody know how to solve this?

General problem with WM devices. Try fring, they somehow managed to reroute the sound from the back to the front speaker. works quite well actually.
