Default How's the new battery life?

I currently have the 6800 with an extended battery. Previously I have the 6700 with an extended battery. Before that I had the 6600 with the extended battery.

With my current phone (6800) and the previous one (6700) with the original battery I can get to lunch time before my battery is finished. I get about 150 to 200 emails a day and have about 20 to 30 phone calls a day.

Will the new Touch Pro battery offer any better battery life or am I cursed to have a bloated phone with a big battery for the rest of my days?

Thanks.

You're likely to have the same issues with the TP. And since there are no extended batteries for the CDMA version yet, you'd be hurtin'. Great phone compared to my 6700, but battery life is not it's strong suit.

I have to agree. The battery life is abysmal. I thought about just buying a second battery, but decided to wait for an extended one instead...

Battery life isn't that great on the TP. I am a moderately heavy user with multiple e-mail accounts and about 50 texts a day. I can go a full day with the current TP I have. I had two other early models that, for whatever reason, the battery life sucked bad on. Considering what's under the hood we really can't complain too much about this. Its a great phone with loads of power.

I will never be able to do an after-market battery unless its the same size. No way I could rape this sexy phone with a big battery sticking out the back of the thing.

Not the heaviest push email or bluetooth user, but I do a lot of browsing and texting. I think the battery life is acceptable, about half of that of my Titan. I could make to the end of two workdays on my titan and have to recharge nightly on the Raphael.

Roms and radios helped a lot!
