I quite like this..however there is no spelling correction. This makes it very frustrating.

Almost there..not quite.

love the app, is there a way to set this as default sms app? every time i drag down notifaction bar to select the message recieved it send me to default androind sms
)

go into chomp's settings and turn off notifications.
then go into default android sms and turn off notifications.
go back into chomp and turn on notifications.

this should make it so your g1 only notifies via chomp. however, if you still get multiple alerts for a new sms, one of the envelopes will have a greenish border...this is the notification for chompsms. it looks almost exactly like the default icon, but it has the green color around the envelope thingy.
