I definitly need a stock version from the german t-mobile rom. And I won't flash anything before i have a backup of the original file. sorry
Hopefully here are enough flash experts that can check .

I have added some Screenshots, and in the 3rd one you can see that the "Benutzervariante" says "TMO_AT" which points definately to an Austrian T-Mobile Rom!
The only hint that my ROM is from T-Mobile Austria you can see in Screenshot 3!
There are no other hints which let me know that my rom is an "Austrian" one.
But anyway a few weeks ago i flashed an German (Deutschland) T-Mobile Rom into an Austrian MDA Compact 4 (aka. HTC Diamond) and everything worked fine for me! (I have downloaded the ROM from the German T-Mobile Webpage)
I just noted the Parameters for "SMS-Dienstnummer" (+43676021) and the "Mailbox" (+436762200) bevore i flashed the Image.
After flashing i set the parameters at "Start->Einstellungen->Telefon->Dienste->Mailbox und SMS->Einstellungen anfordern" to the noted one's and SMS/MMS and Mailbox worked fine!
For GPRS/UMTS i had to set up a new Connection at "Start->Einstellungen->Verbindungen->Erweitert->Netzwerke auswählen"
I had to enter "T-Mobile Internet" for GPRS/UMTS to get working!
So i think, that the Austrian T-Mobile Image should work with your German Device!
But i understand your point of view when you say "I don't flash anything before i have an 100% working Backup of my original ROM" -> this is also my point of View, and the reason why i Dumped the ROM of my Phone!
Now i am just waiting if anyone (perhaps an nice German/Austrian guy who have already flashed his Device with an alternative ROM) check's the functionallity of my Dumped ROM!
