How Many Times Can I Flash my HTC?

I am sure like many of you, I am trying different ROMs from the various "chefs" in this forum. I must be on my 10th different ROM version by now (current ROM I am using is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=462235, seems quite stable and fast).

My question is; "is there a limit to the number of times the HTC Touch HD can be flashed?", I know from previous devices there is a limit that ROM can be flashed (usually around 600), I just want to know the HTC Touch figure as I will stop playing around with ROMs so much if this figure is low enough.

I would think that there would be no limit as long as your careful and not screwing around with the radio's and SPL too much, for any device.

I don't know if 600 may be the limit, but i know that i've flashed more and more my polaris previous, and now my Blackstone into cooking it!

i think it is related to the question about flash rom life....as mlc memory chip may have lesser rewrite times.

but should be enough for thousands :)

Thanks for all your responses, I will carry on flashng then!! Is good to see the roms being developed here, cant wait to see a Windows Mobile 7 Rom in 2009!! Screenshots seen so far look cool.
