Default Treo Pro 5-way Orientation Issue

I installed an HTC Home today screen plugin that modified the orientation of the 5-way control pad, it thinks it is now landscape. Uninstalling the plugin didn't restore the 5-way action to portrait (normal). Anyone know the registry setting to restore the 5-way to normal orientation?

Not sure.
I guess you could Hard Reset.

Just a suggestion, in the future, before trying out new software:

Yes, in hindsight that would have been a good move on my part.

I hope I didn't insult.

I just didn't have a solution, and wanted to pass on something that might help to solve future issue.

Cheers,
Berd

Reluctantly, I did a hard reset and reinstalled everything.

First thing I did was a Sprite backup.

The 5-way works now.

Thanks,

George

Change registry entry HKLM/system/GDI/Rotation/Angle from whatever it is (in my case 270) to 0

Worked for me.
