Changed the pop-up style. Didn't have to add that much more code either. Let me know if it's still just as annoying.

Ok I tried the new version.
I prefet it.

BUT it has a bug.
If you miss the notification pop-up and it hides, you don't have any chance to see it again (and dismiss it)!
The only way I could do it is by clossing TF3D as in the normal Today, it shows "Notification" on left softbutton.

And a question: Does this program help, even if it starts and DOES NOT find satellites? (in a closed room) In other words, this "kickstart" helps even without getting a lock?

It's the weekend dood.

Anyways, the "timed out" notification stays around for me and it's not programmed to go away until "dismissed". I just click the bottom-left soft-key to bring it up again.

It does not continue searching for satellites if it timed out. Would be battery-consuming otherwise. You'll have to run it again when you're in a good open-sky enough area. Indoors is very bad for FUZE's poor antenna anyways, besides the obvious other reasons.

Ah! I thought weekend is the most productive time for devs.

Anyway, seems that TF3D hides notifications anyway after a while. Only when I switch away from TF3D I can see the "notitication" softbutton.

The solution would be to also have it show a notification icon on the top bar (check if it's an easy tick somewhere).

As for my question it was not if this program will keep trying if it cannot see satellites. My question is simpler. If I do the reset inside my house (where it cannot find satelites and it will time-out the program). Will this procedure help also? I mean does it "kickstart" the whole thing so that when I am in the open air and open a GPS program it will find sats a bit quicker? (I don't know if I am more clear now)

Ahh, the evil TF3D shows another UI oversight. Icon will come. :P

Meantime, it may kickstart. I've noticed after FusionGPS gives up, QuickGPS is still running (automatically and window-less) in the background. Otherwise, I haven't noticed much success in terms of kick-starting in a signal-less environment. You'll just have to manually start up FusionGPS, or a GPS app and wait for that long stretch for the lock. I've noticed starting up QuickGPS and forcing a manual update helps almost immediately.
