Task Facade THEMES (still more ARTISTS NEEDED!)

Hi guys,

The new TaskFacade 4.0 contains full support for theming. And it seems to me that its theme paradigma is now well-developed and complete.

SO, THE ONLY THING WE NEEDED IS YOU!

That would be great if we could provide TaskFacade with a full package of themes as soon as possible.

If you have some experience in graphics or inspiration in Task Facade's enhancement - please show up here, in this thread. I guarantee you prompt and full support.

Attached is the standard theme named "Original", that comes with TaskFacade, with its sources.

Please use it to get a clue on how to create your own themes.





THEME CREATION GUIDELINES

What is a theme?

In Task Facade, a theme is a directory that contains the theme.xml configuration file and all the files referred in it.
The name of the directory is the name of a theme.

All TaskFacade themes are located in the directory, described in settings.xml file, "ThemesFolder" element.


The drawing sequence

This is how TaskFacade draws its surface:
1. Draw background (either a Wallpaper or SolidFill);
2. Draw each slot in memory:
-- Create a copy of a snapshot in memory;
-- Draw a Frame (Titled or Untitled, Selected or Usual) over it (using either alpha-blending or InnerTransparency color for transparency);
-- If necessary, draw a special Frame (CloseProcess or ProcessDead) over it (using either alpha-blending or InnerTransparency color for transparency);
-- If necessary, draw a title;
3. Copy the resulting slot's image to the background, using OuterTransparency color.

Themes work everywhere. The only requirement is the latest TaskFacade 4.0 Alpha2.

All images in TaskFacade 4.x are scalable, so you need only 2 (portrait and landscape) to look nice in any resolution.
