Hello,
actually both versions 1.6 work. The 1.6.19965 gives error after install but works perfectly after a restart (and installs also the complete help files!).
The version 1.6.19971 is what I use now (since its the latest as far as I know!) but this one does not install the help files.

I do not know what else would be different. Again, both work and I currently have the 19971 installed and working perfectly (even through bluetooth!!!).

does this work on announcing name of caller while incoming call may be through bluetooth or through device speaker or handsfree? I mostly use this for this purpose only while driving it is very useful to let us know the name of the caller from out contacts lists.

I’ve downloaded and flashed the >XPERIA X1 Generic Germany R3AA007 Software Update< … but my Phone shows now “GENERIC_AT” and Language Setting is “Deutsch - (Österreich)” (for Austria) … I Think that’s a GENERIC-AT File and not the right GENERIC-DE Flashfile … please fix this next Time

then i guess ill wait for that release. doesnt seem like the recently released r3a rom has got anything new/good...

Finland R3AA009 with old camera

I flashed Generic Finland R3AA009 Firmware. It's camera is the old R2 version without automatic flashlight and gps.
Had to install new camera by hand. It speaks english, of course http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=499154

No, not really. Sometimes there are problems when changing to Today-screen with G-Alarm 2.0.3, but without it SPB Shell 3.0 works OK.
