is wifi still an known issue when using WM 6.1

i'm planning to buy 3 of these phones,

on wiki it seems there is an wifi issue, but not sure how to check them when i'm in a store looking for this phone

is this still an issue when WM 6.1 is installed?
does wifi work with WM 6.1 or is this resolved when WM 6.1 is installed?

Why would you buy 3 Junos, when you could buy a brand new Shadow 09 with better hardware and battery.....Its also preloaded with WM 6.1

Well, if you really want the out dated T-Mobile Shadow/Juno then your going to need to load WM 6.1 your selves. Its not a hard process but can take some time.

I have no problem with my WiFi on my Windows Mobile 6.1 Shadow, I have never had a problem but the problem could relate to a earlier Rom of Windows Mobile 6.1. I Don't think any of the current Roms have such problem.

yeah, the wifi issues are on 6.0 only i believe, and kind of a hit and miss thing with the shadow. i have never had the problem, but i think if you install the t-mobile update it goes away.

@mast3rmatt he may be buying these for family or business use, which would be smart since they are hella cheap and more than capable of doing anything the new shadow can, especially if they get upgraded to 6.1.
