Default Problems with GPS signal in my JADE

Hi,
I have received my new HTC JADE last week.
I'm trying to use Google Maps in it but always have problems with GPS signal.
Using the Tomtom v.7.450 installed in it, the error message is "There isn't a GPS available".
Do you know what happened?
It's posible that the GPS was inactive? In this case, How I do to make it active?

Sorry, but my english isn't good. (I'm from Madrid - Spain)

Help me, please.
Thanks a lot.

First run the application: Start: Programs: QuickGPS
Then try again.

Have you selected correctly the device, port etc?

In tt7 select either "Built-in GPS receiver" or "Other NMEA GPS receiver"; in this second case select GPS baud rate 4800 and port COM4.

By the way, find and install version 7.910 (9185) it's much better and it also displays correctly the satelite signal.
Devices:

Samsung GT-P7300
Nokia lumia 820
Motorola XT311

Thaks guys.

I run the QuickGPS as uterrorista says and obtain no changes.

After this, found the GPS Expernal Configuration, make changes as kosmepe says and "voilá", it seems work. Now, TOMTOM says "Bad GPS signal", but almost the GPS works.

Thanks a lot.
