best rom for cdma Diamond?

I'm thinking of upgrading to a better rom for my CDMA diamond but I've never done it and the tutorial is for non CDMA phones. Can anyone tell me the best roms to choose from for CDMA and what to expect? I also dont understrand fully how the upgrade will effect my carrier specific functions on the phone like Data, SMS/MMS and Calls. I use Cellular South as my carrier and I never see anything about them on the forums. Its usually sprint or alltell when discussing CDMA phones. Sorry for the noob questions but how els you gonna learn right?

No such thing........besides, this forum is mainly for GSM devices.

All chefs work really hard and such a question is subjective in it's own right.
