Closing this thread won't mean that all the fixes and links in it will disappear. This thread will be available for people to look through for tips and fixes already posted. But by closeing it we prevent more people from commenting and asking the same questions that have been asked and answered a million times in this thread earlier.

I am in no way showing disrespect to xbmod by suggesting this. If it wasn't for him we probably would never have gotten this far. But this thread is approaching 400 pages and most of the content keeps repeating itself.

Therefore I respectfully suggest this be closed but remain stuck at the top of the Development and Hacking thread allowing easy access for people to search for tips and fixes.

But we need to acknowledge that chefs such as NRGZ28 and YOZGATG are alot further along in their ports than the xbmod port is. Lets stop this confusion that is occuring on XDA. This is happening not because of senior members here at XDA but because Junior members do not search before they ask a questions which in all likelyhood has been asked and answered before.

I will make a video later to show what i am dealing with, but i don't see that anyone else is having this problem. I have 404 contacts and manually entering all the data for each one seems a little bit overkill.

I have the exact same issue ARRRGH anyone know of any fix? ive been searching EVERYwhere and nothing.

I have added a new wallpaper on my phone and rather not have the flip clock taking up so much of the screen so usually i flip it up for the smaller clock and plus i see more appointments. I have noticed if you slide out the keyboard then come back to the home screen the flip clock comes back down so i have to keep sliding it back up everytime i close the keyboard. I dont know if this is something you could work into the final version otherwise all my bugs have been solved using the supplied fixes. thanks again for your work.

btw am running the beta on a xv6850 verizon touch pro with ssk 2.1.1 rom kitchen installed with about 75% or so ram usage after boot for anyone wondering about how it runs on vzw tp

The "People Tab fix" might be what you're looking for.

Have either nrgz28 or yozgatg released their port yet? I havent seen a thread with the files for us to use. They may have gotten further, but until they release it xboxmod's is still the only way to go.

As for the links still being available, if you look at a few posts up someone had to rehost one of the fix files. If this thread was closed not only would that be impossible, but it would also lead to a new thread being opened up solely for that fix. Bottom line, the thread doesnt need to be closed as it is still be used and fixes are still coming out. Once yozgatg or nrg releases their port we wont need this, but until then there is absolutely no reason to close it.
