I am in no way showing disrespect to xbmod by suggesting this. If it wasn't for him we probably would never have gotten this far. But this thread is approaching 400 pages and most of the content keeps repeating itself.

Therefore I respectfully suggest this be closed but remain stuck at the top of the Development and Hacking thread allowing easy access for people to search for tips and fixes.

But we need to acknowledge that chefs such as NRGZ28 and YOZGATG are alot further along in their ports than the xbmod port is. Lets stop this confusion that is occuring on XDA. This is happening not because of senior members here at XDA but because Junior members do not search before they ask a questions which in all likelyhood has been asked and answered before.
I agree. closing it would be nice.
I don't even want to go through this thread to find all the fixes to the many problems.
I can't even use the builtin search this thread function to search for the word "fix".
even tried to use quotes, and it still won't find anything....

I spend the vast majority of my time at MobileUnderground.info now. There we offer free hosting for ROM Chefs (exclusivity NOT required), tons of resources for Chefs, quick answers to problems, along with so much more.

If you meant NRG by "he," then I think that IS what he is working on. A few days ago he teased his 3.0 users with some screenshots similar to those in the video on wmpoweruser.com, in his 3.0 (06/12) thread. Here is the link to that, although there are no more screenshots in that post now.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...525366&page=60

Edit: I just saw the video and can recognize NRG's Status icons on the top.

I heard its still pretty buggy. I hope they wait for a more official stable version before porting.

WOW I must say that it does look hella nice though I do like the contact people tab much better in our current versions!! the way it was in that video reminds me of how it was in TF2D from the HTC Opal.. But I def. like how it goes deeper and has much more options etc!! I guess this will be the next big thing to CRAVE LOL.... btw where exactly is this coming from, as in what HTC device??

I WOULD, but I don't want anyone to think I ported anything. All I did was take the ported Manila files, apply the fixes, & then add the newest supporting packages to make it as functional as possible. I think the credit should remain in this thread, personally.
Device 1: HTC Shooter/PG86100 (EVO 3D) | Hardware Version: 0002

Baseband: 1.09.00.0108 | PRI: 1.55_003 | PRL: 22095
Recovery: 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.5 RC9

Device 2: HTC Supersonic/PC36100 (EVO 4G) | Hardware Version: 0003
Links to my guides and other helpful information:

Baseband: 2.15.00.01.15 | PRI: 2.33_003 | PRL: 61092
Recovery: TWRP 2.5.0.0

Device 3: HTC Jewel/PJ75100 (EVO 4G LTE) | Hardware Version: 0003
Baseband: 1.12.11.1210 | PRI: 2.97_003 | PRL: 16013
