I've tried the app and I think it's a good improvement over my previous mp3 player start method when entering my car (a shake is even more convenient and faster than voice, using Voice Commander, which is activated by a long button pression). But pardon my offtopic, is it possible to have a program launch when connecting headphones? I enter my car, place the Diamond on the holder with headphones connected and automatically MotrPlayer starts... when disconnected, it leaves. How can I? I searched on XDA and Google but no luck yet...

Hey Krups,

really nice and very useful app.

I found one bug (on my Touch HD).

Checking the box: "Run service on device startup" does not work.
After saving and exiting the programm, the box is unchecked again.
After a device restart the programm did not start automatically.

A solution is to put manually a shortcut of the G-Trigger service in the Windows autostart folder. This starts G-Trigger automatically after softreset.

Works great on GSM diamond but seems to lock the keypad after a few minutes, the diamond no longer receives capacative touches. I am running together with GScroll and Gyrator so maybe some negative interaction there. Happy to test new versions! The touchpad was restored by stopping the G-Trigger service, disabling the autostart and rebooting.

This is a great app! Is it possible to "shake to wake"? I dont think so now but it would be an awesome feature to add.
Thanks for your hard work on this. It really adds to the usability of our phones.

Try G-Profile. I have not tested that particular feature of it, but have triggered a song to start with PocketPlayer when I came within range of the cell tower near my home! it's website claims:

"You can set wether a profile should be only activated manually, at a certain time, when an appointment in your Pocket Outlook calendar occurs, when you connect your device to AC power / a headset / a handsfree or via ActiveSync (Windows Mobile device center) to a computer, when a specified program is launched or you your phone is connected to a specific cell tower."

good luck . . .

Whoa! I will add some debug logs in next release to capture the error..

GScroll, Gyrator & G-Trigger all three polls for G-Sensor so it could be understood to have some flaw while accessing GSen.. but capacitive touch blocks is something out of reach.. but I will have a look on it.

Well, it is something risky.. if G-Trigger keeps on observing GSen when device is on sleep then surely its gonna eat lot of battery.. I'll think over it.

I've noticed a the service randomly stops working and doesn't record my shakes. So i have to up it up from programs (note it does say its "Running" but it doenst respond to my movements), and hit save and then exit and then it works. I have to do this at each soft reset.

its programs like these that make me glad i got a Raphael instead of an Xperia =D <3!

i noticed this, especially with windows media player and my documents, to solve my problem i opened the program from the windows directory. Although no fix has been solved for my documents :hmm:

I have tested the program out roughly with the Samsung SGH-i910 series and it works great.
