Hi Cracing,

I'm sad to announce I've had to stop cooking. The USB plug of my wizard has broken last week-end. I can't charged it or connect it to PC.
I was also working on an app on mortscript to manage autoinstalls, cabs repositories and so on, but I must stop that too, cause w/o device I can't test anything...
I don't really know if I can solve the problem. I am afraid my device's definitively dead.

However, I keep reading your excellent works in XDA developers. I hope I could get a new HTC Based device soon and go back to cook and develop.

Oh, sad to know.

however you can repair the usb port manually or by mobile servicing/repairing shop. If you want to do manually; find any damaged device which has mini usb port or get a mini usb spare and you can do your self easy.

I rarely speak out on forums, however attitudes like that of hi_john really do turn one livid. How sad to see valid and self-sacrificing work by people like Cracing greeted with such un-constructive and unjustified, and plain rude, comments similar to those by hi_john. How ungrateful can one be and how low can one stoop? If hi_john is so "displeased" with Cracing's ROMs instead of being so unhelpful he might want to create his own. Then maybe he will learn what it means to work for nothing and get slagged-off in return.

Don't let people like that get you down Cracing. One finds all sorts of people and attitudes in the world!

I feel so mentally weak. I downloaded the videos in the first post and I cannot get media player to download the needed codecs. Can anyone help me through this brain fart?

oops,

If you have xp, use K-Lite Codec Pack which is really really great.
Or if you have vista or 7, use vistacodec which is also great.

BTW; I have lack of knowledge in codecs usage.
