Default Rhodium Dialer

Hi guys,

i am sorry if this is not the right place to post my question, but could someone explain if it is possible to extract the Rhodium dialer from the relevant ROM and covert it to a cab for installation on a stock ROM?

I appreciate any answers as i am new to this but would be interested in starting to play with ROMs.

Many thanks in advance.

just copy the needed files from the oem folder and use wince cab manager to build your cab,
if you know how to cook that is.

Yeah, I tried it but it doesn't work. It keeps saying that the install is unsuccessful, even though I have sdkcerts installed. Not sure why it doesn't install.

I am usign this compatibility pack in my latest pure ROMs
(my ROMs are "pure" xperia, no based on blackstone or rhodium OEMs as others)

I have included this compatibiity pack in my latest ROM and I was able to successfuly run many Manila / TF3D2 apps in the SEX1 ROM

Well, I made a CAB out of my OEM package, please download it and install it, then try adding the rhodium dialer or other manila apps, and please report

If it works, it would be a great achievement for non-ROM flashing users of our community

.

EDIT
24 JUN 09

first test worked for some
second version up, hope this one works for ALL stock Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 ROMs

NOTICE THIS IS BASED ON WWE, but should be tested over other languages too

Here are some RHODIUM/TOPAZ/BLACKSTONE APPS I have CABbed should you want to test them too (mp3 trimmer, comm manager, vol control, voice rec, youtube... etc)

Gtrab, thanks so much.

Does the rhodium dialer work okay? I had Yota dialer but it slowed things down and had a few other limitations.
