Default Task switcher

I'm looking for a simple task switcher that I can launch by pressing or pressing and holding a button, regardless of which menu or program is currently on screen. I've searched the forum and tried a bunch of apps, but havn't found anything that works like I want it to.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for an app? The focus should be on simple task switching, with as few button presses as possible.

Thanks,

I'm currently using "FdcSoft Task Switcher", it is somehow old (I mean does not get updates since 2008 I think) but it just do the job for me! it is better than TaskFacade. It can be found at http://www.dotfred.net/TaskSwitcher.htm and it is free.
It uses small amout of memory and can be assigned to a hardware key. I also use the FdcSoft TaskMgr (Task Manager) which is best in his job.

I'm not getting it to work correctly on the Rose. It looks like it's set to VGA and none of the changes I make in the settings are saved.

I use WM5 Task Manager. Which I got from [http://www.nikafx.com/downloads.asp]nikafx.com[url].

Been using it for quite awhile (since I had my Tornado running WM5). It works pretty well, but Process view keeps erroring saying "Error getting processes. Probably low system memory". But as a purely App/Task switcher I reckon it's pretty nice.

Displays various info down the bottom like, battery life/memory info (internal/external etc).
