I updated WM 6.1 LITE ROM. Now it is as clean as possible.

Flash instruction:

- Put Flash.dio and XDA_UC folder on SD card (SD should be <=2G)
- Hold mute + record together and finally press power and release all 3 together
- SDloader appear and will clean boot when done
- During clean boot, you will need to wait for 2 beeps sound before you see the welcome screen,the phone will be unresponsive at that point

Q: Manila right softkey is named "programs", but by pressing on it launches camera

It is a known bug related to M2DC (M2D Config). Exactly after flashing all should be correct, but if you open M2DC, change something in it and accidentally press to softkey tab and then press ok (without modifing softkeys) M2DC automatically redefine softkeys to their default values Phone and Camera. So this bug is related to M2DC. Because i am not a developer of this program, i cant fix this.

Solution:
by default softkeys are set to

It is problem of all winmobile devices.

Solution:
Use default winmobile dialer

Q: When i create New Folder in WM6.5 StartMenu icon is ugly.

You can change folder picture. See code below, it is made for my two folders: Multimedia and Office. Copy attached folder icon to Windows dir and edit registry by analogy with code below.

Q: When my pda battery left about 35%, the pda starts to scream "Low Battery Voltage detected" and then after 10 seconds the pda will turn off.

It is related to bad calibration of your battery or your battery is bad (old)

Solution:
Buy a new battery.

Before you buy new battery, try this solution
Discharge your battery to 0% with video. Then without turning it on charge to 100%. Should happen recalibration of battery, if it is not so old.
If dont work this, so buy a new one.

Q: How can i see default windows keyboard, Block Recognizer and Letter Recognizer

They are hidden by default
To make them visible use small utility SIP Manager

Q: Weather on Home page dont work

It uses your GPS location. Updates only with WiFi. Of course, GPS signal dont work in houses, be closer to window or the best result be out of house.

Q: D-PAD: How to use it?

It works like this: hold down the end call button for 1 second, and the red LED will light up to let you know it's working. When it's on, the number pad keys have the following functions:

1：Home 2: Up 3: Page up
4: Left 5: Enter 6: Right
7: End 8: Down 9: Page Down
0: Tab

To switch back, just hold down the end call key again.

Also, you can change the backlight by holding down the Windows key and a number:

win + 7: 1st level of screen brightness, with the keyboard backlight off. Good for using indoors in average lighting.
win + 8: 2nd level of screen brightness, also with keyboard backlight off. Good for bright rooms and outdoors.
win + 9: Brightest level (use when in direct sunlight)
win + 0: Lowest brightness level, keyboard backlight on. Good for dark rooms and nighttime.

[ABC as Default] - Set ABC as default IME for hardware and software keyboards.

[T9 as Default] - Set T9 as default IME for hardware and software keyboards

NB!
Not all languages work correctly, some languages dont have hardware support (only numbers from hardware keyboard)

To view language you should manually add your language code to the registry.

1) Why XDA_UC folder is needed?

What the XDA UC service does, is silently install (or not so silently if needed by User), .cab, .xdas, .xml, .reg, .mscr. This happens either at first or second boot

-odd to me when the customization engine finish and i press reset, the screen go blank (not off just black) and seem to hang there, i punch the pinhole reset and seem works fine

-your pagepool seem to be 4mb(based on pagepool_by_wlodixon)

-and the dpad program doesn't seem to work

-you use the 80mb flash.dio (based on original flash.dio?) instead of the 76.9mb that other rom cooker use so you have a lot of unnecessary empty space at the end of file but I guess you will optimize later

D-pad is not in startup, press to icon and then red button. Working fine

I use kitchen by captaintrip, it always generates the same size of flash.dio file (80 mb). If you use something different or know how to decrese size of ROM, share your knowledge

you can change the TEMPLATE.ROM in ROM folder to a smaller one, I used pdalcan rom as template which is smaller, make sure you replace the xip with yours though. But I guess it probably doesn't matter much other than the flash file is smaller
