Default Starting out
I've searched the forum and can't find the answers so am posting here - please don't flame me!

I used to have a HTC tornado and before I could flash custom roms I had to "Super CID" the phone and install EnableRapi.cab before I could change the SPL.

Are these steps required for the Jade? Or can I just Hard SPL and then install custom roms?

Just Hard SPL.
