[App] New version of FingerPoint (ver 0.2.3).

Please find new release of FingerPoint App Launcher.

Change log:

1. Quicker start
2. Less memory used
3. Skinable interface
4. Groups In Favorites
5. Progress bar while caching
6. ExitOnLaunch option (can be configured for every app separately)
7. ExcludeFavoritesFromAll option
8. First VGA skin – needs testing
9. Update information
10. Shortcuts to Control Panel settings
11. Removed sorting in Favorites

Work pending

1. Rotation not supported
2. Scrolling with magnifying glass not always gets you to last item on list
3. Rework of bottom icons
4. Double click on item to launch app
5. Start FingerPoint with param that sets default tab
6. Select by group

If you’d like to try VGA Version please find setting.xml file and change
<FingerPoint Skin="WQVGA/White.xml">
To
<FingerPoint Skin="VGA/VGABlack.xml">

This skin scales icons to be bigger.

If you would like to make your own skin find folder /Skins/WQVGA and inside thare are some xml files that are responsible for skin colors and layout in WQVGA resolution.

There is still no configuration of the app if any one would like to write external application – like an FingerPoint Configurator – please do it as I do not have much time to do it myself.

If any one has questions regarding setting.xml or skin xmls please ask I will be happy to answer them.

Thanks for the new version. No errors here, BUT I can't figure out how to make the program icons show on the list. Only a couple of them are shown, like Notes, Tasks, etc. Am I supposed to drop an icon .png file for every app in the icons folder? Otherwise, everything is working great and it is a lot faster. But when I try to start the Control Panel, nothing happens . It is linked with \Windows\ControlPanel.exe, but for this file does't exist. Is there any other way to access the Control Panel?

First off GREAT app !! love it . But for some reason when i go to the third icon it doesn't show me what app's are running , all i get is an error message telling me to quit then restart or look at details . Just wondering if your working on that ? And again awsome app

Fingerpoint 2 is awesome. Very quick. Had some issues when first loading it, got an error, more of a windows mobile error. Changed the settings.xml to include the vga version and did a soft reset. Works perfectly.

VERY SMOOTH when scrolling...just need to figure out how to add more icons and change some of the captions.

I'll keep an eye out for a config tool if one ever comes out.
