HTC Touch Cruise 09 ROM updating and version

Hi

I have touch cruise 09 with the following ROM information.

ROM version: 1.10.707.3 (41889).

I purchased this device from Hong Kong but I wanted to know if this is a UK ROM (which I doubt it is) or a chinese one. Is their any way of finding that information out? Eventually I want to update the ROM to chinese one.

Taiwanese Iolite - HardSPL is required.

This Rom is probably for Hong Kong Vendor ID, as I tried this rom on my Taiwan purchased one and it issues an incorrect vendor ID. Seems that in order to change the Taiwanese rom to WWE, I have to wait for the proper HardSPL .

Just wonder if the Jade HardSPL will work on the Iolite machine. Since I already used it once to "release" my Jade from "Jail" , it will not allow me to re-try for the Iolite (it will issue a message indication that I have used it once to change the CID of one machine..).

Has somebody tried the Jade HardSPL (I think ver3) to modify the Iolite CID?

I was able to download the ROM but also have trouble to install it over my WWE Europe ROM.

I had no problem to flash WWE Europe ROM over my Dopod Chinese ROM.

Same Vendor Error message.

Can anyone post an Asia WWW Ship ROM?

I can allow you a second device, but it must be jade, not iolite - it would not work on iolite. anyway see my other msg's here in Iolite forum about status of HSPL and about another possibility on iolite language change that I can help with (just send me a PM)
