keyboard lag?

When I open up my text messages and slide it open to use the physical keyboard, everything aligns correctly, but then theres a log between what I type and what shows up.

How do you fix it?

Best way to fix it from what I've seen is just making sure the memory on your phone isn't being hogged up. Flashing a custom rom (if you havn't done so already) frees up a lot of space as well as using task manager to close out any programs you're not currently using. A soft recent every once in awhile would do the trick also.

Yeah I do all of that, I just don't know what it is. The only one that doesn't cause the lag is the 6.5 ROM from Da_G

had a stock rom and it did that by week two, then i flashed to NATF's v4.5s and haven't seen tihs prlem sncie... altho it has only been two weeks. it is a dick pain, but doesn't it get ever letter you hit, just with a delay?
