I am totally new on this. Really need you guys help. I wish to update my Polaris from WM6 to WM6.5. May I know which file shud I download? And how to install the new WM on my device? Sorry, i kniw this sounds noobs...

By the way, really happy to see professional here discussing about this phone which is really rare in my country.

This is "by design". In previous versions of Windows Mobile you could configure whether to close or "minimize" the program. Now the only option to close is to long tap the close button until short vibration. Most programs will close this way. Exceptions are, at least, ActiveSync and Pocket Outlook as I noticed.

By the way, I'd recommend to try WkTASK (http://soft.photoracer.net/docs/wktask_en.html). It creates a configurable button in the top right corner of the taskbar. This button closes the programs instead of "minimizing" them by default.
Also, it creates desktop Windows-like taskbar so you can switch between non-fullscreen programs easily. I find this feature very handy for me.

hi...if i install the original ROM first from HTC..is it i must do the hard spl after that?? now i'm using your rom which have do hard spl before this..
i think this ROM have stability issues since my memories always 90% above..
just my opinion..

hi. what are the most stable and most close to original htc rom pccarvalho? i want to update my rom for polaris. in 2009 i have tried out some roms but -late was 21304 or so but it hasn't icon when i connect heads and also some random unknown call from a stored contact. since then i have read the post you made but i didn't flash any more rom. so please tell me what i should install? thank you, adrian.

Flash the last one - 28014 non3D. it works very well.

hard spl is the thing you must do before you flash any rom...after hard spl flash orginal and then pcarvalhos rom.......

what rom you have flashed...if 3d...flash to non 3d....pcarvalho´s rom´s are very stable... and free ram is around 50 mb titanium and with manila around 45 mb...very good i think

if you want old style wm6.5 flash 21882/23017 ....new style 28014 non 3d...before flash this rom....flash hard spl....then original rom...then pcarvalhos
