Dopod T2222 1.32.00 Touch VIVA

Hi,
i'm currently living in Shanghai where i just won a shiny new DOPOD T2222 TOUCH VIVA, in a lucky draw. I think it might be a new version because the manuals say it was manufactured in 2009.

the problem is its all in CHINESE, so i want to change it into English

when i boot it up it says spl and obnl is 1.32.00
trust me, i've tried every tool and software and ROM there is, and followed all the instructions perfectly, after about 10 hours i gave up, i tried the Hard SPL method and the opal custom roms etc.. but each and every time it gives me:

"ERROR [244] : Invalid Model ID" and also sometimes
Error 270 image file corrupted.
could this be because i have a 1.32 version ?
when will there be a 1.32 update utility that wont give me Error 244 ?

I have windows 7
Mobile Device Center is active and connected

Hi which hspl did you use I have tride many and cannot get it to work
Mine is in english if you want can send you spb full backup to update into english.

How is it going right now? You may refer to the top sticky thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446446 and Opal_HardSPL_v2 can just work to unlock my China Mobile T2222.

hi i want to know if anybody has tried to update their dopod t2222 to wm6.5 in english, i´ve found the rom in chinese, but i´ve had no luck finding the english version, anyone knows if it does exist?
