Hi, Thanks for all the contributions everyone!

I just have 2 questions, I have added 5 lifestyle screens to my mobile shell (total 8).

1. Is there any way I could edit the layout of the screens manually i.e. edit an xml?
2. Is there any way I could add shortcuts to the the different screens? As opposed to cycling through them.

I have tried to search for the answers but havent been able to come up with the answers.
Thanks

Is there anyway to add a shortcut into that spb folder to say the 2nd or 3rd lifestyle screen? I am trying to set up a theme that I can use to access all 3 of my lifestyle screens without using a finger swipe and using just an icon press.

1. Its much easier to edit them visually but all the settings are in the registry if you want to give it a go (I wouldnt).

2. No.

As far as I know you cant switch to different lifestyle screens from a link as the lifestlye screens are treated as 1 really wide screen thats chopped up into different sections, hence the swiping action to go left or right. If you want a screen thats linked to a button then you can make as many cloned pro screens as you want and then name them HOME3 HOME4 ect then set them out as you want and make a button to get to it. But you would have to know what you are doing to get it all working.

Here is my config using Sense interface btw

Clic to get it bigger

Nice interface, me too I am in love with Sence. Guess you tweaked the pro panel with Bombyx, if you use the Sence theme. Not sure, since mine looks smoother, especially with the launcher background. Wisbar Advance Taskbar is nice, but I prefer a cleaner desktop and taskbar - your's is way to crowded for me... :-)

Looking forward to Sence V2 still in the works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8T6VPBM0BQ

Thanks for the info. That explains a lot of the screen behavior now.

Hi Hornet-Wing

It certainly is possible...

Use the method described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=3646

However, your links should be changed to something like:

51#"\Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell\MenuLauncher.exe" -cmd:"dlg|PanelName"
Where PanelName should be changed to the name of the panel you want to shortcut to eg: LockScreen, or LockScreen2, etc.
I just did a quick test myself, and it worked fine...!

Of course, you can't shortcut to the different parts of each panel (like you do with the left and right swipes), but you can at least get to the main part of the panel with a shortcut using this method... However, if you really wanted to... Just create more Homes, with PageCount of 1, and just shortcut to all of these... Basically you can't shortcut the swipe, but you can approach it differently for the exact same result...

Good Luck...!

Hi Mskip,

A few questions...

  1. firstly, does the cab work independently from your widgets or do I need them installed...? I've got my device just like I want, so I'm not too keen adding a whole lot more widgets to it...
  2. secondly, do you know if it's possible to re-route stuff using this method...? Namely I want to re-route the add calendar item in the agenda view to go to GekoNewCal instead of the standard MS New Appointment window

cheers
