1.) Unsure what that is about, media panel does take a long time to load and if the mp4 files were not completely loaded into it it will not play them.
2.)MS Voice is the one included with the os....it may not work with X1....crap shoot with that. On the brighter side...you could always purchase the version made for the X1.
3.)Battery drain, I have used these roms and battery drain was normal.

Hmm ok tried the media panel issue....same problem here. may be a glitch in the beta r3 media panel... will test another version or it could be the r3 drivers....will have to see....

you could also copy TomTom Navigator.exe from any 7.915.9196.vga cab (maybe also data.chk if colour are of interest) it worked for me. what I did is I saved the TT exe file from prev build.
TomTom works fine in the manila build.

cheers but tom tom isnt major as can be added as a cab. still dont see how one included dont work as i tested it on all de roms and it work fine. even got gps signal inside my house! thanks for your suggestions though and i am happy you got a version to work

Media panel not playing mp4 movies seems to be a panel problem, have changed drivers....will investigate more...

Thank you WC your help is much appreciated but I have not heard about MSVC with successful integratation with the OS build speciafically with respect to X1.
There are certainly problems starting from button assignments to announcing the caller for incoming calls. The rest of the things works.

when i use the FingerKeyboard, sometime the key 'SPACE' repeat the last char even the space !

Probably because its not completely compatable with windows 6.5 as it was developed for windows 6.1...work around...use sipchange and set it to regular keyboard. I personally do not use this keyboard as it it not user friendly in my opionon, and if it was up to me I wouldn't even include it, but some people like it and want to use it...
