Dude this find is Sweet!!! Think this should be Stickied because it's simple, easy, and it works.

I will be making several different wallpaper CABs with this for my device so I can switch BG whenever. It would be sweet if there were a moile version so I wouldn't have to use my PC to make the files and CAB's Either way this is a 10 out of 10.

Note: In the program you have to go to 'Config' and set 'Profile Name' to 'Manila v2/v3 Default (No Compression)' or else it will not work.

Edit: One problem. The home Wallpaper is not changed even if I select Default wallpaper. Intresting. I will look in the other thread for an answer when I get back from camping.

yes, you have to set the (home screen) wallpaper separately, and you actually dont even have to set it for the tabs after installation - it just works, different from the touch hd (as far as i read this, i dont have one)

but thats fine for me, i wont change regularly, i am just glad to avoid that boring black background

Havent tried this yet. But it sounds sweet...

Just a few noob questions.
Does it require a cooked ROM ?

And can you uninstall the changes if it goes wrong?

There are no cooked roms for TD2 yet as there is no HardSPL available until today. So it is assumed that this works with official roms.

my rom is original and branding-free (and it worked flawlessly). there seemingly were issues using orange branded roms with touch hd.

this cab just replaces a few picture files, there is obviously no risk in it but losing these files, so you may want to backup them.

@rogeriopcf: the title of the other thread is "Full resolutions Background?" - would you have expected the possibilty to change wallpapers in tabs there?
