New camera hardware for Universal?

I know... strange question. But... after long time I want to go back to HTC Universal. I tried XDA Flame, very luxury pda, but there is no hw keyboard. I tried Touch HD, but this is just simple shiny phone, not pda for work. I tried Xperia, quite good, but too little.
So I found that HTC Universal is the best and I want it back. But there is one problem, I like making pictures, but camera in Uni is not good. Is there any chance to connect to Uni some newer better camera chip with autofocus? I think this is question of hardware connector compatibility, drivers and maybe camera application? Is it possible or am I completely wrong?

I´m not sure if there is such thing, but I´m using the latest Tomal ROM wich is really great and camera works very good

hey you can try putting another camera and see if doesn't work revert back to original one.... please let us know about your findings if you try this ..........
