Exclamation BATTERY COVER CRACK! Have you got one Too???

Hi everybody ,

I haven't been around in a while. I just wanted to point out that some people have noticed a small crack on the back case of the sapphire , HTC magic etc. where the mesh is up the top......

I noticed it and others have on another forum , so i thought it might be a good idea to see if you have it too???

Just wondering if anyone on here had the same problem??

I thought i would bring it up as users of the vodafone UK Forum board have raised this issue that a number of people have this problem. It seems Like a design fault

Strange isn't it , Definetly a manufacturers fault

Be warned , it could get larger! As seen in the forum link posted above there is a picture.

According to vodafone , to get it repaired you have to send it off using the repair process which takes about 5 days !!

All to get the case replaced

That's still probably acceptable for many. The people in the link said that it keeps getting bigger and bigger. You're better off looking for a point in time where it would optimal for you to send it off. Then you can give yourself some leeway instead of having to do it as the massive crack in the back of the case demands.

Wow, I just checked mine and I have one too! Never noticed that before! I've had mine a couple of weeks and have looked after it like a baby. Maybe it was there from the start but it's so tiny I didn't notice.

Mine has the tiniest of cracks but I'm not going to send it off to Vodafone to get fixed. As soon as it launches as the myTouch 3g in the USA aren't they going to be selling new back fascias anyway with designs etc? I think I'll just pick one up on the cheap on ebay when it comes to it getting horribly bad
