Great build, thanks for all your work!

I'm curious right now, I always have some Ongoing process running in my notification area, and it just says "Loading Data, Please Wait.." Does anyone know what that is?

Is anybody else getting a force close on a google.partner app (or something to that affect) after boot up? Other then that I'm loving the fact that there is now voicemail notifications!

Sounds like your google data is syncing, contacts and email.

Yeah that happens with the ion builds. Everything still works though.

Wow this is the fastest build yet for people like me with slow memory cards! Amazing!

I do have 1 problem, my gmail timestamps are wrong. It is not so when I login to gmail from my laptop, but on the phone it is show weird hours that don't correspond with that on the phone. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

double check that your timezone is set correctly, or it will show the wrong times for all your appointments and emails. Also, you might have to go onto your gmail account settings (from your laptop) to be sure your location is set right for timezones.

Coming soon is an update to the RIL for automatic timezone and times from the network, as well as support for voicemail notification from verizon (and other carriers).

We might even get working call waiting id!

Look for it this weekend.

Would anybody know why some applications are not running on my phone. I get an error and a force close. I tried the Global Time just to see if it works and I got a force close on it. The previous build, the 1.1, worked fine. I like this one better, but it seems like more of the apps are not working. The camera is also down, and the picture gallery keeps jumping around. Its loading the pics but its also going in and out of that screen. I don't know whats going on. Any idea anyone?

Thanks Vilord you are the man, that did the trick. The reason I didn't mess with it before is because it was displaying the proper time and date on the clock so i assumed that automatic settings were working properly.

How far are you guys on getting speakerphone to work?

Try updating your apps. Many of them have been reworked to play nicely with cupcake.

I noticed that when I get a notification and I don't respond to it, subsequent notifications don't make a noise to notify me. Anyone know how to get around this? The reason being that sometimes I don't need to look at my email but sometimes I want to see text messages.

Try smspoup, it's pretty slick, or other third-party sms apps. I think there are a couple out there.
