Hi there,
Bluetoggler is a very simple application that allows you to toggle bluetooth (Off / On / 'Discoverable') on your WM6 device. When you run it, it switches your Bluetooth radio on or off or to 'discoverable', depending on the state it was in. There's a 5 sec. timeout to enable tristate switching. (Just see it for yourself, then you'll know what I mean) Why: I was getting tired of all the trouble one has to go through, just to enable or disable Bluetooth, so yesterday I wrote this application. I thought it might be nice to share it with other people who encounter the same problem, so here it is. I really don't know if there already are other applications which do the same thing. If so, Bluetoggler might be a nice alternative. If not: have fun with it. This application uses the .NET compact framework 3.5 and I tested it on my HTC Touch Pro. (Rom: 5.05.404.1 NLD, Original update from HTC). Of course I do not provide guarantees or can be held responsible for damage blablabla... I think it's allways nice to hear what others think of something you've created, so please feel free to comment or send me an email at: brrrbaybay (<_AT_>) gmail (_._) com. Friendly regards, Joost Haverkort (BrrrBayBay) |

Haven't tried that. It's compiled for the .NET compact framework 3.5, and I assume that WM6.5 will provide backward compatibility with WM6 or 6.1.
It runs fine on my original HTC ROM with WM6.1. -- Joost |

Since you wrote the app.. is there a chance that you can add some options..
· When the phone button is press or the exe is active, enable bluetoooth · When you hang up the phone disable bluetooth · When you hang up the phone do nothing to the bluetooth · When a call comes in enable bluetooth Thank you for your contribution to the forum.. I am currently using AEButton to triple clock a button to turn it on and off cause there was nothing that did it automatically. |

@Eazy:
I really like you ideas, though I'm not sure if I'll implement them due to lack of spare time :s I'm considering buying the HTC Touch Pro 2. If that device also has crappy bluetooth toggling, I'll certainly update BlueToggler. |

Hi all,
I decided that if I'm not continuing to work on this application I might as well give away the source code. It's not much (understatement), but here it is. Have fun with it. Friendly regards, Joost Haverkort Ps. This application needs the "Embedded source tools for bluetooth" package from microsoft to compile. |

Can anyone make another version with the "On-Discoverable" option out of it? That is, just have it as "On" and "Off"? I have a Sprint/HTC Touch Pro, and I love this program, but I don't want to turn on the discovery mode. I just want on/off.
