Can anyone post a HTC ASIA(taiwan) ROM image ?

Does anyone here have an HTC Asia version of Magic ? If so can you post a dump of the ROM ? Or backup using nanroid and post the files. Would like to see the Differences between this rom and the existing roms floating around.

I am using hk CHT version but unable to boot recovery image
Therefore cannot run the backup to dump my Rom ....

Yes, I am also holding a HK version of HTC. Cannot boot into recovery mode too. Hope anyone can help.

You can try to fastboot daldroid-recovery.img

nandroid is included, so I hope you'll be able to dump your rom.

If the recovery does not fastboot, or if you don't need to, do not flash the recovery image.

If you decide to try the image and are successful, please take the time to post in that thread that it worked for you and info about your device (basically the info that appears on fastboot screen)

your method and files worked on my Taiwan version of HTC magic...

a tip and reminder for Taiwanese users:
use daldroid's recovery + rooted images
if you simply use the recovery image, and flash the rom from haykuro, your magic will be just stuck at the logo
however, daldroid's rom file is english version and no Chinese input method is included
you can still see chinese characters on it, though

Do I apply daldroid's recovery + rooted images = flashing a complete new rom?
And only English?
Since in my mind, root the rom is not equal to flash a new rom. Am i right? Correct me please if I am wrong.

Hi, daldroid, it helps alot. But may I ask for more information on developing a new recovery rom. About how to write the recovery rom and new rom. Thx.

yes, i did flash the rom completely...
and since this rom is rooted, you i do whatever i want afterwards...
now i'm installing HTC_CIME (please google it)
i'll post if i succeed later

I need to have root to create wifi connection in my school which is wap2 enterprise authentication....

If Daldroid methord works can you post the image or the backup files?
