msn live messenger problem

who is also having problems with wlm messenger? tried various versions and disabled the proxy settings but still no luck. Through outlook i can sync email, but not the messenger program for chat.

i use t-mobile and the wlm gives me an error that it can not connect to messenger and it could be the service or my phone, and that i have to try it later

I have had that issue too but it was in a poor network coverage area, when in a good area (even on standard GPRS) it seems to be pretty stable.

Adult content blocker

I've just switched to T-Mob UK from Orange UK. My sim switches over tomorrow so I've no actual experience to go from but the cust service guy said that their adult content blocker also block IM applications so needs to be removed. You can do this through T-Mob cust service.

Hope that helps, and that I don't have the same problem from tomorrow!

I'm also living in the Netherlands, using T-Mobile and I have the exact same problem.

On another site somebody sent me another version of WLM for the device, but after installing that my entire TouchFlo 3D was gone! (Fortunately uninstalling the version fixed the issue again.) But still I cannot get a connection.

Internet is not the problem as I'm using the phone as my internet connection the entire day.

Oops...the initial version has been uninstalled as well now!

Ahh thats a really good point, that was one of the first things I did when I got my new contract! lol

Yeah get it unblocked and the world is your oyster.

Try disabling the proxy for T-Mobile, this worked for me.

Also check date is correct, sometimes if date is not well you cant connect

I have the same problem also in the netherlands on t-mobile network

I tried to connect while connected to my WLAN and it returns the same error message!

How can I determine what version I have?
