Strange MemoryCard behavior

Hello
I have just bought an XDA neo. Official WM5;O2 orig. nothing changed or flashed (yet)
I installed Garmin XT mobile = no Problem.
Now when I inserted my microSD 2GB(with adapter) it ask me to use it with my XDA i said yes = everything o.k.
copying files to the SD = first o.k after some copying = no storage card
Done this a few times = always the same
Formated the Card in FAT or FAT32 = same Porblem
Parted the Card in 500MB and 1500MB,formated in FAT32 =sometimes ok. sometimes no Card inserted.
The biggest File ist the Map and it is 1,4 GB
Tried in another XDA neo same Problem
The Card is working fine with Laptop,PC, old Phone with Windows and Linux.
Can anyone give me an hint why this is happening (bad Card ?, no File bigger than..?)
