Default Can I "un-hard SPL" my SnapVue?

I like to start over with WinMo as it was ex factory...having a few issues with our cooked rom's. However, the ClearSnapVue form HTC now times out when trying to clear it.

What are my options? Would a full restore to Vista etc also restore SnapVue?

Any ideas welcome.

Default vista reset will not re set snap view

vista reset will not re set snap view .

What you need to do is actually use the stock rom and falsh it to your Shift .

Do a search , I beleive there is a stock roma uploaded and a thread exists in xda.

cheers

Thanks for that...will search. I've noticed for some reason my Shift has started to consume power at a much faster rate when switched off...only lasts a few days now where as I would get a week prior. Maybe using the stock ROM will fix that.

No I didn't - what I should have done was take a ROM dump prior to using the first cooked one...I'm back with i00's ROM as it's the only that is truly stable with my device. I do have a friend in New Zealand with a Shift and if I can convince him I will take his non SPL'd device and dump the ROM. If I manage that I'll post it for all.

I'm sure that the Original Stock HTC ROM with snapvue is available on this forum.
You can flash it. You will still have a SPL-ed device, but a Stock ROM.
