[APP/INTERFACE] More details on sleek new iHD interface!

16TH JUNE UPDATE - The images pictured here are from an earlier version of iHD. Thank-you for the comments. The interface in it's current version supports background wallpapers, has higher quality icons and very fluid transitions as well as displaying the time and a notification bar at the bottom of the page. I will upload a video very soon showing a newer version of the software. It is much less of an iphone clone and is more of a unique interface now. It has support for up to 20 icons per page and can have several pages.


Here is an early look at a new upcoming interface for the HTC Touch HD currently titled iHD (it has now changed considerably from the images and now has far less a resemblance to the iPhone and has different icons and greater functionality)

It has only currently been tested to run on the HTC Touch HD (however is likely to work on any WVGA HTC smartphone). I have posted some photos including showing the modification of the layout but they are not very clear, I will upload better quality previews and a video soon. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Beta is expected to be released in next few weeks.

When launched it covers the today screen. The home button brings it back to the iHD interface. It has a start button for launching the start menu and is highly customisable: A long press then drag allows you to modify the layout of your applications, and holding an icon for three seconds launches a customisation menu allowing you to rename any icons and change the icon to a predefined image or one of your own.

As mentioned, we expect to be releasing a beta in the next few weeks. Please feel free to give any opinions or advice on the project.

if you really want that sort of ui u will get in few mins just go to wad and create it one its as simple as creating a silly html webpage and i am not that perfect in those things but i came to know when i used concept theme very recent.

why dont people start better ui rather den copying a simmillar one even the placement of icons...

it looks good and it appears to go further than any other UI with the exception on Touch Flo 3D. I am impressed with what you have even if you appear to have taken the photographs with a pinhole camera from the early 20th century!

What I feel is needed in such a project is a set of icons that have a similar theme running throughout, that are hi-res and professional looking.

Get a good graphic design artist onboard from the outset. There are plenty here.

What about animations? Can we expect such stuff as sliding between screens/ rotating animation or anything?
