Tradewinds 2 works for me on 6.5. It's Tradewinds 1 that doesn't work. It did work on my stock 6.1 AT&T ROM.

I don't have this to test with but I noticed some games that I still had issues with were resolved if I have the volume not muted and in Sound and Notifications the Program volume turned on. Then the games worked. Weird, I know. Thanks for the fix. This is great.

That is very interesting, thanks for bringing it to my attention. Can you give me an example of a game where this occurs? Perhaps I could find a fix for that too?

Now my couple of games are working e.g Pdamill gamebox but Atlantic Redux is still not working pda just freezes when you click file to run... I am running sheps 23001 rom wm6.5 ... and your link I got from there as well.
