Hi all

i have seen that many people are opening thread just to get answers for their specific problem they have!!!(no offense to anyone in particular) and i would like to inform to u that even though this forum is free

some one is paying for all the space we are using (space as in hdd space storage space etc...)

so lets not was threads to jut get an answer to our specific question

my humble request is before u open a thread ask ur self

1.can i get an answer to this by posting it in another thread related to this 2.is this thread useful to the others

more often than not your answer to the 2nd question is NO

I request all jade users put any questions u have regarding jade ie which cant be answered in a specific thread here so what does this do this saves space to create more useful threads for us all to use & also remember this could also become as a repository for all questions and answers on jade that the future jade users have and want answers for

And yes if u start putting ur questions here you would start getting answers cause their are many many helpful members out their who like and enjoy helping others and once they start seeing this section they would keep coming just here to help us out

8.HOW TO CHEK UR SPL NO
HI IF U WANT TO CHEK UR SPL NO WHICH IS SHOWN IN THE TRICOLOR DO THE BELOW

1POWER OFF UR PHONE
2.HOLD DOWN THE VOLUME DOWN BUTTON
3.WHILE STILL HOLDING THE ABOVE POWER ON UR PHONE
4. U WILL GET A TRICOLOR SCREE WITH UR SPL NO
5.TO RE BOOT IN REGULAR MANNER USE UR STYLUS AND SOFT RESET UR PHONE


9. HOW TO HARDRESET THE JADE(HTC TOUCH 3G)THIS IS HOW I DO IT AND IT WORKS
1.Power off the Phone
2.Press volume down button and also Press down the black center button
3. while continuing do the above Power on the phone
4. Now u will get a while screen asking u to press the volume up button
to do the hard rest press the same its done
Note : when u do Hard rest u will lose all your data so kindly take backup before doing the above

10.HOW TO FLASH ROM ON JADE FROM THE SD CARD (THANKS kurtfhouse FOR THIS INFO)

1. Rename the .nbh file of your rom of choice to JADEIMG.nbh, drop into the root of your SD card.
2.Poweroff your phone
3.hold the volume down key and while continuing to hold it power on ur phone
4. The Phone will go into the bootloader mode, and will auto detect the rom image from the SD Card and ask if you want to proceed by hitting the power button. Hit the power button and the rom will install
Note : it should take about 10-15 mins (as of now i have not tried this try at ur own risk but it works for kurtfhouse )
also make sure that ur SD card is Fat32 or format the same to Fat32 & use a smaller memory card the smaller the better
this is as per my experience using the above method on my previous phone ie gene(P3400i)

after flashing the above mentioned spl i cant flash back to the old 1.40
2) Now after flashing to it 2.32 i cant flash to anyROM too
Help!!! it just sits in 0% after the tri boot(red blue green)

hi
have u done ur HSPL or have u just flashed a original ROM
im sure if u have done ur HSPL u can Flash any ROM u want
and in the same their is also a SPL back in zip form given instrution for the same given in the same thread

chek on the below link and kindly give more details while asking a quetion this will help in giving u a solution

Ok here is my problem.
I flashed my hard spl. now why tri colour shows this information

Jade100 64m
SPL-2.32.000
MicroP-Jade (LED) v5

Problem one is when i try to flash back to 1.40
the progress stuck at 0%

Then I ignore it tried to flash to a two new ROM
1.IoJade65-0.8_WWE.rar
2.Jade_LeanCut_Ultrafast_wm65_CE_OS.5.2.21815_OEM_ 2.33.721.1_Manila2d

the progress stuck at 0% too

T_T help me please am in almost in a panicky mode now.

ur spl should show 2.32.olinix
i dont know how ur spl is showins as u mentioned
i sugest pls do the HSPL again or chek ur spl again may be u have read it wrong see my sign i have mentioned my spl this should be urs after hspl
do this
power off the phone
press volume down button and then power on the phone u will get tricolor with spl chek the details if the spl is as u say and not 2.32.olinex then u have not done HSPL do it and u can flash any ROM i have done it and i have flashed more than a dozen Roms

note : while doing hspl u need live net connection and turn off ur firewall and antivirus while doing it

i think maybe because of the internet connection will need to try at home
currently i am in my office where proxy is being use here.

yes i sugest that u try at ur home and the process does give a problem when

ur at Proxy dont worry its very easy u will suceed i did it the first time and im new jade user too mine is less than a month old
goodluck and do post ur success here when its done

REMEBER : turn off ur firewall and virus when u do the process OK

Yes it is confirmed! that you need the internet connection in order to complete it.
Guess proxy is not working for the SPL.

But as to date which ROM is the best i tested IOD and lean cut both of them not working properly (for 6.5)
