Is the g1 capable of high quality games?

Is the g1 capable of high quality games? as in iphone/itouch games in a way, with the good graphics and such.

What iphone games are you trying to compare to? Of the stuff that my iphone 3G user friend has shown me, there wasn't anything that my G1 probably can't do.

The iphone 3GS is probably a different story though, if they make games for it's better graphics capabilities.

A lot of games, they all have better graphics than the g1 games. Like zombieville, Tetris, siberian strike, touch grind, etc. If devs could make the same games but on the g1 would it still have the same good graphics?

The G1 is perfectly capable of running hi-quality games. There's a demo app out there called Neocore that flashes some of the capabilities of the G1's display.

Unfortunatly, it's not the CPU power that matters, it's how fast the display can handle different processes. In that area, the G1 has a less-magnificent display and can't keep up.
