Default what to do after performing HardSPL?

hi, I've just bought my G1 so I'm a noob frankly speaking. During yesterday I had tried to root my G1 (not sure successful or not), and successfully applying HardSPL on my G1 already.

and now, I would like to flash to CyanogenMod 3.6.5 which based on android 1.5, while currently my G1 is still firmware 1.0 and the baseband is 1.22.12.29 with TC4-RC29 build.

So, my question is, what should I do next so I can flash to CyanogenMod 3.6.5? From what I've read around the forum, it seems I have to update my Baseband version to 2.22 something is it? But, i also read that I must update radio before applying SPL... so if I'm going to update radio, will it brick my G1 since I HardSPL before updating this radio.

another question is that, do I have to update my build? what is the use of build actually...

thank you for everyone in advance

You're going too fast and you've confused yourself.

There are plenty of good guides around. Slow down, use the search, and READ EVERYTHING TWICE. If you carry on trying to do this stuff before you understand it, you're going to end up with a shiny new brick.
HTC Desire Z | SPL: 0.84.2000 S-OFF | Radio: 26.03.02.26_M | Recovery: Clockwork | OS: Stock WWE rooted
T-Mobile G1 UK (HTC Dream) | SPL: 1.33.0013d | Radio: 2.22.28.25 | Recovery: RA1.7.0 | OS: EzTerry's MT3G w/GDE Onyx theme *retired*
O2 Mini-S (HTC Wizard G4) | SPL: Hard | Radio: 2.71.11 | OS: Custom build from WizFlo 6.1.2.2 *retired*

**Check out my latest GDE themes at http://www.gzthemes.com, or search "goldenarmZ" on the market**

thanks for your advice. but can you please hint me where to get the good guide for a noob like me?

the problem is that I can't seem to find a good guide for a noob like me in the first hand because almost every topic regarding to the rooting just stop half after installing HardSPL... that's why I'm getting confused whether to install Radio first or SPL first...

at least the one that I'm referring did not mention anything about updating Radio and just installing the HardSPL right away.
thanks.

I don't understand also what to do. At the end I just want to install xap files on my phone.
I make successful installing on HardSPL. And after reading may be 500 posts i still don't understand what is the next step to deploy xap files on my phone. I read that I need Application Deployment tool but it doesn't work. So i did this (below) exactly and after this error:
error - application launch failed. ensure that the device screen is unlocked and device is developer unlocked.
i think that i'm missing something. What else after HardSPL i need so I can deploy xap files? If there is not other thing then why is this error. I do exactly instructions for deployment :

1.From your computer go to the Start menu and navigate to “Windows Phone Developer Tools”.
2.From among the options look for “Application Deployment” and select it.
3.When asked to specify a target device for deployment, choose “Windows Phone 7 Device”.
4.Direct the tool to the file path of the XAP entity you want in your phone.
5.Plug in your phone to the PC via USB cable.
6.Let Zune sync with your device.
7.Without letting your phone go to sleep, press the Deploy button in the tool running on your PC.

I forgot to say that my phone is HTC Mozart 7 and I hope that i'm asking in the right place.

I don't think so.
After reading 5 hours i found the simple answer.

After instaling HSPL u can now instal Custom Rom which is fully unlock.

That's it.
