Arrow LATEST UPDATE! - 08/02/10 - TD2 Tools 3 is now available for download!

For Windows Mobile 6.1 Users, you can still get TD2 Tools (Release 2a) here: http://www.zshare.net/download/6608498153d7a417/

Changes / Improvements:
------------------------------------

(TD2 Tools 3) - Public Release (Major Update)
This Version is for Windows Mobile 6.5 ONLY!

1. Changed: Moved Rotation Manager and Slim Volume to their own seperate utility applications and created a program group on the start menu.

2. Added: Boot Manager utility allowing you to: Soft Reset, Hard Reset, Enter Bootloader Mode, Enter Device Sleep Mode or Power Off the device. Also allows for Power Button integration.

3. Restructured some of the menus in TD2 Tools and added support and improved stability for custom ROM's.

4. Added: General Settings has been renamed to User Interface Settings and Menu Bar Font Size, Start Menu Icon Spacing, Startup Animation options have been introduced.

5. Added: Option to Enable / Disable the Manila Clock 'Flips' to TouchFLO Settings. Supports Manila 2.1 and Manila 2.5.

6. Added: SMS tab containing SMS related options to Phone Settings.

7. Added: Info label notifying users they are able to tap and hold in the connection list for additional options in Data Connection Settings.

8. Added: Option to PERMANENTLY Enable or Disable the Resource Proxy service to Performance Settings. (ShareMemSize will always display '0' even after a soft reset).

9. Added: Device Suspend to Boot Options menu.

10. Added: code implementation to update controls to WM 6.5 style.

11. Fixed: NullReference Exception that some users were experiencing when trying to load TD2 Tools.

12. Added: Safeguards so when TD2 Tools is run on a device or Custom ROM that has had HTC features 'Stripped', respective options will automatically be disabled if it is not present.

13. Cleaned up the UI of TD2 Tools and made some minor cosmetic changes.

14. Added: Device Info tab which is basically a more advanced version of HTC's Device Info application. Here you will find 4 additional tabs for Version, Hardware, Memory and Battery Information.

Please Note: TD2 Tools 3 and its utilities were built using .Net CF 2.0 therefore .Net CF 3.5 is NOT REQUIRED.

Please give generously!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Release 2d)
This Version is for Windows Mobile 6.5 ONLY!

1. Removed: 'Call History Limit' and 'Call ID Match Digits' from the 'Interface' tab of phone settings as these dont really require to be modified. OEM settings are sufficient enough.

2. Added: 'Console' option to 'Options' menu which allows you to track errors, info, and dump the contents of the console to a file for debugging purposes. Please note this option is for advanced users only.

3. Changed: A few cosmetic changes to the interface, and introduced NEW HTC style On/Off switches.

4. Removed: TD2 Tools has been rebuilt upon .Net CF 2.0 due to compatibility and stability issues therefore .Net CF 3.5 is no longer required.

5. Fixed: A bug where Enabling/Disabling 'HTC Volume Control' would not function correctly and when application was relaunched, would not display the correct setting status.

6. Improved compatibility with 3rd party / custom ROM's, uDK in particular so TD2 Tools should now function correctly.

7. Changed: Main application icon to a more suitable HTC style icon with rounded edges to make TD2 Tools look more official.

8. Added: ''End' Key Data Disconnect' option to the 'Data Conn.' tab which allows you to terminate your data connection by pressing the END key once. Also adds a disconnect button the the data connection list within WM 6.5.

9. At this point, please consider making a donation for all my hard work involved with bringing you this powerful, all in one application!

Please Note: TD2 Tools (Release 2d) reverted back to using .Net CF 2.0 therefore .Net CF 3.5 is no longer a requirement.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Release 2c)
This Version is for Windows Mobile 6.5 ONLY!

1. Changed: Restructured the options on the Phone Tab and removed the Misc. Sub-Tab as some options were redundant.

2. Added: Volume Tab to the Main UI which adds support for controlling which programs can use the compact volume overlay instead of the full screen one when pressing the volume buttons. Backup and Restore functions for the list are also included.

Please ensure you have the latest .Net CF 3.5 installed on your device.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

7. Added: Phone Tab to the Main UI which includes 4 Sub-Tabs: Call, Interface, Misc. and G-Sensor containing a number of various options.

8. Added: Data Conn. Tab to the Main UI which allows for Enabling/Disabling desired data connections and Enabling/Disabling 'Always On' state.

11. Removed: 'Enable Audio Gateway Power Save' option as it is now redundant.

12. Moved: GPS settings to its own Tab on the Main UI and removed the GPS Settings button from the Performance Tab.

13. Tidied the code and error checking, developer improvements etc.

Please ensure you have the latest .Net CF 3.5 installed on your device.

(Release 1d)

1. The White List should now be the best one available on the internet! Layout has been dramatically improved and now looks more professional and "Backup" and "Restore" functions have now been implemented so you can backup and restore at will. 3. White List is now as easy as G-Config but with a few extra options.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Release 1b)

1. Totally Re-written the code for the White List feature. Now you can either manually specify 'ModuleName', 'ApplicationName' and 'WindowClass' or just browse for the '.exe' file and use the 'Get Info' button to 'grab' the Window information by inserting the 'Stylus'.

(Release 1a)

Be great to have everything in one place! Keep us posted!

Here's the "tweaks" I have used:
Nodata
Aktogglewifi
psShutXP (display off, turn off, soft reset)
FDCSoft TaskMgr
hc4 ObexInboxEx VGA (send bluetooth files to SD card)
htcAddicts CleanRAM (not sure if this works 100%)
David Andrs Batti (battery indicator across top of screen)
Showaco All_Programs (4 column Start, Programs for TF3D) - but the implementation isn't bug free
4 column programs and settings - WM standard
Rotation control

Would like to have better implementations of:
Birthday, anniversary reminder - currently using NS birthday
Short cut to Device lock (save wear & tear on hardware key) - the options around seem to take memory or resources

Cheers

Default TD2 Tools - Programs Tab Fix - Released: 26/08/2009

If you are experiencing problems and bugs with the Programs Tab, you need to search for a patched manila file to make it function correctly. The setting option in TD2 Tools only Shows or Hides the Programs Tab.

A method for preventing the web browser from ever attempting to use 3G / EDGE for data connections while still allowing data for MMS.

Is such a thing possible?

Nice idea !
So,
- Allow TF3D2 in landscape
- Enable change of TF3D2 programme launcher background
- Enable change of colours and fonts of TF3D2
- Enable to add new shortcuts in the programme launcher page
- Boost TFL3D Performance
- Speed up camera shutter Speed
- Enable to change softkeys
- Enable assigning actions to hardware buttons
- Audio louder
Some already works on my Topaz but there is no app yet. So, thank you.

yes, there is a way to prevent the PDA from connecting to 3G and EDGE every time: settings - all settings - connections - advanced network - in the HSDPA/HSUPA tab, select enable HSDPA only. I did this and I've no problems...

Arrow Some suggestions:

-TouchFLO: option to choose between wm6.5 start (or 6.1 start menu) & manila programs tab.
-Comm manager: option to set 8 buttons & choose which. (in advanced config i can choose 8 buttons & press ok it writes error but still saved).
-Camera: high res panorama, additional modes thats not enabled by default.
-Enable/Disable notifications manager.
-Enable/Disable threaded sms.

from advanced config:
-Performances settings.
-Power management settings.

from hd tweak:
-Call settings.
-Camera settings.

from sktools:
-Enable/Disable wifi-g

This might be good replacement for many tweaking app alltogether like hdtweak, advanced config, sktools, gconfig...

hope you make it......good luck!
