I know that there is a half a dozen people that are going to yell at me for posting this question in here because it's not the right place, but this is the only thread that I do post in, and I have come to trust people who use NRG's ROMs the most, so please let it slide just this once. My question is... Is there a phone worth sticking around at&t for? I just called and the best phone they have now is the tilt 2. Since that came out awhile ago, I figured they would have something better by now. Any suggestions on upcoming phones? I have an iphone that I can use temporarily, but would love to get my hands on something better in the very near future. Thanks in advance for any advice.
Samsung Captivate (AT&T's version of the Samsung Galaxy S). IMO the best phone on the market right now hands down. However it is android and not winmo, so you'd have to make a switch. Good luck.
Current device: AT&T Samsung Focus
Previous devices: HTC Tilt (Upgraded), HTC Fuze (Broken)

I'm sorry but all the pics I've seen of these wp7 phones look goofy as hell, with that black bar down the right side, it just looks horrible... I'm sure once you click a tile and are using whichever program you actually get the whole screen, but I think they could have done a lot better on the main interface... maybe it'll grow on me... who knows...

I know, right? At first glance it sure looks ugly, unpolished, & an inefficient use of screen real estate.

Why not try it out (simulation) with SPB Mobile Shell and MSkip's WP7 skin (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?t=649362)? Then you can get a feel for things to come...

Default Titanium ROMs don't unzip

I can't get either one of the Titanium ROMS to unzip but the others do.

Hey, has anyone tried the new Compact Start Menu option? It has routinely been unresponsive for me on the Oct 9th 21916 Sense 2.5.

Just to clairfy, have you tried to upgrade 7Zip to the beta? Either that or try the newer ones...

pretty damn fast here... actually this is the fastest most responsive ROM I've tested in quite some time, I donated $20 it's so damn fast... actually donated because of 21680 OCT.7th but 21681 is even faster, noticeably, and I'm not having any issues with c0okie now either... I was importing some old reg keys that were fudging things up for the most part, the other speed increases came from a few settings in CHT2.0 itself...

seriously, if you haven't donated in a while, try any of CHT2 21681 builds, I promise you will be impressed, also a marked improvement in battery life for me, and I have twitter set to update every 15min, as well as tons of txting and phone calls.

everyone, please donate if you can, mr energy most certainly deserves it!
