I've noticed, than when I tap (in landscape) "send", and then close the keyboard, it freezes. Cannot find a solution here for this build.
And, noticed, that when to switch to another theme (for example NRG - Original) TP freezes and only soft resset will help, but the device after reset is veeery slow. Need to change to NRG - Plus theme.
Anyone have same prob?
Im wondering whats the newest release with the start menu on the bottom? and the X on the bottom? i really like that setup becuase its easyer for my fat fingers.
let me know so i can update.
The versions with the 23081 core have the new top and bottom bars layout. Keep in mind there is a lockup issue with email and the showcase suite, but there are workarounds if you read the thread for them.

I've been using hte 21864 ROM for about a week now. It's a beautiful and fast rom that I'm in love with...BUT my battery life is actually worse than it has been on previous Energy roms. I am not running any different programs than I was before. Using Seven for push email and calendar, auto update weather and stocks on largest intervals (i think update every 30 mins for each one). The problem that I've found now is that whenever I do even the most menial tasks, the memory usage spikes. Even if I make a phone call, it jumps from about 57% to 63 or 64%. If I open messaging and close it so that it's no longer running in the task manager when I'm done sending emails/texts, the memory usage still jumps. I had battery drain of 40% in 3 hours yesterday before I realized that the processor was at 77% and nothing was open...CleanRAM is a savior...only if I realize that I need to use it...
Sorry for the long explanation, but is anyone else that's using this rom have the same problem? Or is it a problem with one of my programs?
Thanks in advance.
ps nrg, your roms rock, thanks so much for all this vga love
i think me and you are on the same boat, if im not mistaken, i calibrated the battery correctly and i went to school, it was 2 hours into school and all of a sudden i get 99%! and it was over one little txt message, i didnt enable vibrate or LED notifications, i never had this problem with previous ROMS but idk if its my radio? i flashed 18.104.22.168 along with chainfires rilphone.dll download since i heard its good with battery? idk but i also get random spikes in memory as im typing my battery is just going down(its already at 83, it was 92 not even 5 mins ago, im on EDGE cuz i have good reception here) and yes im on my TP, ill have to find out whats the cause, idk if CleanRAM will help my issues its a pain trying to get a good combination of radio and rilphone together, and im thinking showcase could be the culprit taking up CPU speed, ill have to experiment with different radios again when i flash to 21864, if anyones got a solutions plz assist us
i went to change my home background with Manila. just to mess around. Now theres no option for me to select default with pretty blue lines on it. all i see is "metal grey grid". if i go to start menu i see blue lines, go back to home - none
I had the same problem. Just choose a different theme and revert back to the Energy Plus theme and you should have it back again. Just don't choose the blue one, because it will do it again, but with a blue background
