I know there is already a cab for this, but I made one that only contains the 4 manila files.
After thinking more about it, I don't think the original actually replaced the Audio Engine. But there is a shortcut to it. Maybe it shut it down for the install. It's not large enough to have replaced anything like that.
In anycase, I installed the one attached to this post with the XDA_UC.
It does not contain any custom setup DLL for the install.
Just a Bare bones boring cab.
are you talking about FB on manila? or FB app (which is seperate from manila) there is no way to backup the password for FB app... if there is I haven't found it anyways... but if you look at my regexport.ini you will find the keys to backup twitter/facebook/youtube login/pass...
Not sure, it's the Facebook that comes with NRG roms, I'm not installing anything different.
Anyway I tried Sashimi with the following regexport.ini, real basic just to get the facebook settings but alas still no joy, either with XDA_UC or Sashimi to import the reg files back in.
Hi, just wanted to take 5 minutes to give my experience with Energy's Roms !
So well, what can we say except that most of touch pro users are fan of Energy roms!
I just came back from almost 2 month using the Energy Sense 2.5 rom, it's quiet nice and pretty but it's really to laggy for me
Now I'm back to sense 2.1 and well It fill fast!!
I think, the only thing I'm really missing, is the agenda layout that show the next couple of days events. In sense 2.1 you can just have the daily or monthly apointment
Well this is all
(PS: guess there may be some bad english in here ... sry for that
Of course "ygo" would be where stock data is. That's obvious. About as obvious as "Jataayu" was for messaging.
Is there a way to copy the contents of this folder to the correct location using XDA_UC? I've looked at the XDA_UC thread, but still not sure if it can be done. If it can't be done using XDA_UC I can make a cab to do it and have that installed by XDA_UC, but it would be cleaner without the need for a cab.
Hee guys i got a little question..
where are the changelogs? where we can see what is changed in the new roms?
I read the changes at twitter but i also like a list of the changes
did i miss something?
Is anyone else having problems with Bluetooth headset connections in the latest Roms?
I have a radio in my car that talks to my phone for handsfree and also music streaming.
What used to happen (and I think the last time I paired it was one of the March roms, I forget exactly) was after pairing, my phone would ask whether to allow access to the phone book etc, and it all worked nicely.
In the Apr 24 ROM (23563 GTX) it pairs ok, but only works for music streaming. If I try to "connect" then it says connection failed on the radio. So half the process is working but not the handsfree side of it. Hansdsfree is ticked in the BT Settings for my radio but it just won't work... Any ideas? I wasn't sure if this would be more of the Radio ROM - but I've never changed that, only the OS ROM.

This is good, and I would definitely use it if only the font wasn't dark grey so it's almost unreadable. How easy is it to edit the font?
I am trying to automate my setup for after flashing a new rom. Basically I want to back up and restore the following for EnergyROM with CHT:
CHT with all Quicklinks and layout, etc. (Can do this with CHT export/import, but would love to do with Sashimi automatically)
Contacts and Facebook linkage (currently use MyPhone to backup, but I've had trouble with facebook - can contacts be restored fully with facebook links in Sashimi?)
Stock tab (not sure I think files in \Application Data\HTC\*.*,*)
Facebook Login and PW (??)
Twitter Login and PW (??)
Netflix Login and PW (??)
Windows Live Login and PW - with Hotmail on the Mail tab (??)
Change text input to use Swype by default (??)
And these I've managed to successfully back up already (glad to share info if anybody is interested):
Opera settings, bookmarks, passwords, etc. (successful backing up files in \Program Files\Opera Mobile 10\profile\)
Tab order (successful using reg)
Contact Favorite sequence (successful using reg)
Yahoo account on Mail tab (successful using XML)
Wifi Connection settings (successful using XML)
all installed CABS (successful reinstall using sashimi)
Ideally, I'd like to use Sashimi to export the settings and files preflash, then import them all back in postflash - but I'm having mixed results so far.
Anyway, if anybody can point out any registry settings I'm missing, or maybe the proper order of installing things to make it work, I'd love the help. I'm going to attach my regexport.ini and filebackup.ini from sashimi. Thanks in advance.
PS - Sorry if this is off-topic, but I REALLY have searched and found probably WAY TOO MUCH information. There seems to be a lot of people on this board who really know what they're doing - specifically with this GREAT rom - and I'd love their advice.
FYI with sashimi if you want to back up a directory and all subdirectoreies recursively, you can use the notation \Path\to\folder\*.*,*
So in your filebackup.ini for opera10, rather than having to list the individual 1/2/4/6/8 folders under datastorage, you can just go:
Code:
[Opera10]
FileBackupDirMode=Auto
Storage=\Program Files\Opera Mobile 10\profile\datastorage\*.*,*
Secure=\Program Files\Opera Mobile 10\profile\secure\*.*,*
Also for people who were asking about which sections to restore for things like keyboard layout and SIP selection etc, have a look at my attached SASHIMI regexport.ini as i have it itemised to do various things like keyboard, time, power, sounds, keyassignment, credentials etc all in separate sections so you should be able to pick and choose what you like.
JVH3 - I saw a post where you said that you have the twitter login restoring nicely - could you tell me exactly which keys you back up? Because myself and benjamminz and others have posted that we have weird problems with twitter tab reg restore where it gets stuck in a loop trying to login and you have to disable/enable it and re-enter credentials to get it working. Potentially we are backing up/restoring too much of the registry... eg i am doing quite a lot of manila keys when i perhaps should be a little more specific
