this is a common problem with NRGZ roms.they are not fully loaded.they are OVER loaded.

I was having the same kind of problem and then I decided to try the standard version.

The new 2016 Sense now have 12 quicklinks, much more than before. So, if you use CHT for quick links, I think 12 is a good number. I'm not saying the standard version can replace all functionality of CHT, but its speed is worth the price. I'm really pleased with it, the memory after a soft reset is around 45%.

If you still want to use CHT, try disabling the HD wallpapper and other options that you don't use. A couple weeks ago NRG released a cab to speed up CHT, I don't know if it is still working for the new version but it helps a little (nothing compared to standard speed).

i have this same exact problem i had to flash back to the 27th rom. hopefully there will be a fix soon.

I have flashed the lastest Cookie Tab and this release and the last June 27 release i cannot find my mail tab. I can see it in the customize tabs and it is checked but it will not display the tab. Also i have noticed in that alot of my apps have been crashing for no reason. has anyone else experinced this? I mean there is nothing special that i have to do to reproduce the problem it just happens randomly.

so it turns out that it was tmobile's fault for the pic sizing error. apparently there was something wrong with their mms servers, but it was corrected not too long ago. so im able to receive pics in the original size.

just thought i would update that if anyone was keeping an look out.

Flashed from SD card this time. No particular reason. Just wanted to see if it was that much faster.
It took over a minute to copy the RAPHIMG.nbh to the SD card.
It took 7 minutes to flash from the SD.
So, it is faster, but not alot.

I think the main benefit is that it you don't need to worry about your USB connection and can continue using your computer. I will flash from SD from now on for those reasons.

About to go through some basic tests before I run XDA_UC. Before I flashed, I renamed my XDA_UC folder so that I could test it first.

Note: These are observed differences, not necessarily problems

1. Dialer no longer has the curtain. I was not a big fan of the curtain, but it did not bother me enough to change it. See BenjamminzIS's posts for how to install the curtain dialer if you want that.

2. Keyboard is defaulted to compact qwerty, which is great. Letters appear to be bold on the on screen keyboard. Noticed that the onscreen keyboard selector displays very quickly. It seems like the SIPs are cached now.

3, As mentioned before, the stock tab is not ported to VGA yet. This is not a ROM problem. In the 2016 thread a solution was posted. From that, I made a zip file that can be used for this ROM and probably any WWE ROM.

4. Music rotation is back. And there is no need for the Kidz Rocks landscape fix. It is perfect. In 2012, it took a while to get the art in landscape. In this, it is immediate. Did some reading in the 2016 thread. Programatix used the Kidz Fix to see what to do for some of it.

5. Like the new ArkSwitch skin.

6. Album does not display the preview in portrait. You can see animation when swiping, but the image is no where to be found. I think this is a port issue. I will retest after applying Album 3.2. Rotate to landscape and back to portrait and they will display correctly until you go to another tab.

Now I am renaming my XDA_UC folder back to XDA_UC and hard resetting.

Aside from setup, this will add Album 3.2 for me and fix the stock tab.

Looks great.

I have found no other issues that need to be fixed, aside from the manila file for the photos tab and the manila files for the stock tab. And this post has links to post with fixed files for both.

I have also updated post #6 to link to these fixes too.

do you if the latest version of the 2016 port is cooked? the latest version has the photo/music tabs "fullscreen" fully ported now... just wondering, been using xda_uc to copy the updates, just need to know if I can delete those files or not...

Looks like it has the good music tab, but photos do not display in portrait on the photo tab until you rotate to landscape and back to portrait.

Figured out picture tab

Rotate to cause it to go into full screen landscape.

Rotate back to portrait.

Then all is good.

But, it seems that you need to do this everytime you go to the photo tab.
