How to enable wifi in standby mode??

hello there..ive been searching for answer but did not find any
i used an option in advance configuration tools to enable wifi during standby mode but it did not work like it should

anybody knows how to do this?since sometimes i download things but when the screen goes off the download cancelled due to wifi has been diasbled..its really annoying u know

should be this key:
"HKLM","\Comm\TNETW12511\Parms", "HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended","1"

i have checked the registry u mention..it is already value '1'
do u mean that i have to change it to '0'?

..the value "1" is correct; just tested it.
WLAN is on; I press the power button -> device is in stand by -> press power button again -> wlan is still connected!

strange..it does not act that way in my device..
