In germany you have to enter APN Type: mms
Without this it wouldn't work - I experienced that myself...

I have tried various Hero and Sense Roms all to no avail with FC's all over the place but this ROM with the advanced launcher plus the Black Droid theme is a thing of beauty! Many thanks AMON_RA!

32A installed this ROM yesterday and wiped the Data and Cache directories.

I found that I was having intermittent issues with the Camera application causing the phone to reboot.

So far I have resolved this issue by clearing out the old photos and videos that were stored on my SD Card.

I came from a Hero + Sense ROM which had a different directory structure on the SD Card. I had moved all my old pictures and videos into the new directory to let me view my old pics. Now with none in there, I have had no resets.

I will report back if I encounter any more crashes, otherwise no issues.

My friend is also having issues with his phone which I installed this rom onto. He gets a "Loading Data" notification icon which does not stop until his phone resets. I am willing to guess that it's his SD Card as well and he'ss going to try and clear it out and we'll see what happens.

Thanks Amon_RA... Love your work on both the ROM here and the Recovery software... thanks

My friends issue was an application he had installed which was not working correctly (Weather Bug). I imagine that the Dalvik Cache was causing issues and I'll try to wipe it via the recovery

Default Not Able to Communicate to Google Servers

Many thanks for the DONUT!!

but once I have done the update everything works great apart from the gmail client detecting the wifi. I always land up with "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server", where as I am sitting right at the same place next to the access point where 1.5 was working fine.

I am with a 32A.

Default SPL

I'm new and just trying to catch up on the custom ROMs. I have been reading about SPL's and I wondered if I need to update mine to get more out of my MT3G. Is there a recomended SPL. I don't want to brick my phone.
Thanks.
I'm currently using RAv1.6.2.

Amon_RA has stated that all SPLs seem to be the same function wise. Only differences is whether you can flash alternate ROMs... ie all non perfected ROMs are the same, all Engineering are the same, etc.

At least from our user point of view. I am sure there are some differences, but given that all they do is load software, it is not worth messing with as long as you have a SPL that allow you to load and flash custom ROMs.

Default sluggish keyboard

Hi. I'm have a 32A running on Orange Switzerland. Everything is working fine, but the keyboard is really slow at times, especially when I type quickly. I noticed some other people have had this issue, but I didn't come across any possible fixes in the thread. Thanks!

I'm having an issue where either the space bar, or sometimes any key will cause the "up" direction to be pressed. This happened with HoFo 3.0.7 as well, although it happens less on this ROM.
HTCs through the years: Wizard, Hermes, Kaiser, Raphael. iPhone cult for a few months, and now back!
Sapphire (sold), and now on an at&t Nexus One.
